Sault Ste. Marie is hosting a major energy event in the fall.
From Nov 4 to 6, the community will be home to the Energy Opportunities Conference. The event, which will attract industry leaders from around the world, aims to promote the local energy sector, generate business opportunities, and discuss and debate solutions for the energy-related challenges.
The conference is being hosted by the Sault Ste. Marie Innovation Centre. A number of community groups, including the Sault Ste. Marie Economic Development Corporation, are also supporting the initiative.
A number of world-class speakers will be present, including:
- Chris Turner, Author: The Leap “How to Survive and Thrive in the Sustainable Economy”
- Nick Parker, Co-Founder & Managing Partner, Global Acceleration Partners
- Tom Rand, Managing Partner, Arc Tern Ventures and Author of Kick the Fossil Fuel Habit & Waking the Frog
- Glen Martin, Founder & CEO, Energizing Co.
